EBSC Crush 06G Earns Two Silver Medals in Two Brackets in One Tournament in One Day
It was another action packed and game filled Sunday for the EBSC 2006G Crush team who took on the unprecedented task of competing in their own U12 9v9 bracket as well as the   U13 11v11 bracket in order to maximize their individual and collective progression.

The girls faced 6 games, back to back, with little more than 5 minutes between each game to change fields and get setup. It was a very tough day in which the girls played their opening fixture at 9 am and finished the day off by concluding their final game at 2 pm.

The girls opened the day with a very professional 1-0 win in the 11v11 bracket and   followed that up with a convincing 5-0 win immediately after in the 9v9 bracket.

EBSC and STA Officially Announce Partnership

The East Brunswick Soccer Club (EBSC), one of New Jersey's leading community-based youth soccer clubs, has bolstered both its training program and the competitive opportunities for its elite youth teams by partnering with STA/SONESOCCER.  The partnership will mean that SONESOCCER will provide recreation and travel training to EBSC players and teams, while the club's elite teams will have the opportunity to become EBSC/STA teams, with advanced academy-style training and the chance to compete at the highest possible level of play.   "We are very excited about the possibilities with STA and SONESOCCER," said Howard Gessner, EBSC's president. "We already have an exceptional youth soccer program, with nearly 40 years of great history, and we see this as a next important step in ensuring the continued excellence of our club. This is a partnership that will help all of our players -- from our 5-year-old Superstars through Recreation and Travel and al l the way up to our most advanced U18 teams." Sarah Brady, coach of the EBSC/STA Fuzion U11G team competing in the JAGS Premier A Division 8v8, continued:  "EBSC has always been a hotbed of soccer talent -- a great feeder for the exceptional East Brunswick High School teams and many top college programs. Not only does the club already have first-rate players and teams wearing the EBSC jersey, but if you look at club academies in the area, they are stacked full of EBSC players. We can now keep those players with their home club and provide them with academy-style elite training, professional coaches and unmatched league competition."
