Match RECAP:  Williamsburg International FC

Williamsburg International FC were able to end the fall campaign on a high note with a win against Manhattan Kickers. After two re-scheduled contests due to weather, the sides met late at Randall's. Kickers went up first, capitalizing on a errant clear by WIFC and putting a strike in from distance. WIFC kept applying pressure and was able to draw a penalty that was slotted home by John Kaddo, bring the first half to a close with the score level.

The second half saw both teams battling to go on top. On a counter attack, John Kaddo was able to streak down the side and whip a ball into Mark Gallagher who volleyed it into the net. WIFC was able to hold on, withstanding a few quality chances from the Kickers, to take the win.

WIFC looks forward to the spring session and getting back to the successful playing style that got them into the 2nd division to begin with.
