Match RECAP:  Williamsburg International FC

Real Ole got off to a quick start with a well placed shot into the far corner early in the game. They followed up not too long after with another goal to take a 2-0 lead and carried that into the end of the first half.

In the 2nd half both teams started showing a little wear and tear and the field began to open up, creating opportunities on both sides of the pitch. WIFC was able to take advantage first and started clawing our way back with a Oliver Harrison through ball to John Kaddo that he placed by the keeper. Shortly after that, the same pair connected again for another score to tie the game at 2-2.

WIFC withstood a barrage of shots and breakaways, bailed out a number of times by poorly taken shots from Real Ole. Then, against the run of play, Oliver Harrison was able to grab hold of a ball in the box to put WIFC ahead with~15 minutes left.

Not to be outdone, Real Ole pushed forward and quickly equalized off a header that was smartly placed after being redirected off a WIFC defender. Then they put the final nail in the coffin with another header on a cross with just a couple minutes left, setting the final score to 4-3.
