05 PREMIER FINISH FIRST IN CHATTANOOGA

BUSA 05 Premier wins the CFC Fall Classic in dramatic fashion! The newly assembled squad traveled to Chattanooga this past weekend to take on the second division teams from some of the region's toughest programs. The 05 Premier defeated SSA Premier 1-0 on Saturday before stepping up to play the FC Alliance team...storms and early miscues saw the boys lose 8-2 to finish day 1. Sunday would prove to be defining moment in this early challenge for the boys. The morning game would be against CFC Premier II. BUSA Premier controlled the entire game winning 2-0 setting up a rematch in the finals against FC Alliance. The boys were not shaken by the previous day's result and vowed to SHOCK the FC Alliance team. The first half closed 0-0. A much improved performance that put the boys into the second half with a chance. Any early goal against did not change the game...a second goal conceded on a header from a corner did not either. BUSA 05 Premier dug deep to find a surprise goal immediately following and momentum had changed. FC Alliance could not match the pace, and BUSA scored again drawing 2-2 with minutes to play. Both teams battled to the closing seconds ending in a tie. Penalties would soon follow where FC Alliance would fall to BUSA 05 Premier 2-1 in penalties thanks to amazing goalkeeping by Adam Alemond and goals by Hurley Smith and Kaleb Bass.
