Thank you from Lethabong, South Africa!

Dear LFSA Families,

I wanted to thank you again for all of the soccer donations for my mission trip to Lethabong, South Africa. The uniforms were a big hit and made the kids felt like real professionals.
The children take pride in their appearance, and now that they have pristine uniforms they’ve decided to store them in a central location, keep count, and distribute them on Saturdays when tournaments are generally arranged. The older teens are responsible for making certain that all are returned--they take the job quite seriously.

The box of assorted jerseys brought joy to many kids--it was great to see them going through the pile to find colors and sizes that worked. Day after day we would see kids playing outside in their jerseys--

To all of the families that contributed--thank you for caring, for bringing happiness into the lives of these amazing children. You’ve touched hearts across the world with your donations and they really do make a difference! I am witness to the smiles, I receive the hugs and thanks from the villagers, and quite frequently I cry with them--tears of joy.
Blessings to all of you for your help, your compassion.

With gratitude,

Mary Farkas
