Team played incredibly well with a defensive posture and held the #1 team to a 0-0 result at half time.

In the middle of the 2nd half, we took the advantage from an early goal on a free kick just outside the box taken by Bini Yohannes to Jeff Gorgas to tap it into the net, now leading 1-0 with 20 mins of play to go.

The opposing team was relentless in pursuit of a tie.  Fish saved a PK which energized the team to continue their strategy of parking the bus and stopping any advances and crosses.  Solid defending, but one eventually made its way just inside the box on a diagonal low shot to the opposite corner with 15 mins more to play.

Final score 1-1.   Very satisfactory game and relentless defending.
