Infinity FC vs. Big Green SC

Infinity with another dominant performance against an undermanned Big Green SC this past Sunday 7/16/23 to inch closer to our first ever trophy.  Much respect is owed to Big Green who fought hard and showed no quit despite having no subs and going down early.  In the end, Infinity was able to bury 10 en route to a 10-0 clean sheet supplied by star keeper Tommy Notto.  

Two hat tricks on the day by Peter Morgan and Zach Morrisey, who picked up the clean sheet in net last week.  Jon Carter provided two tallies as well to continue his strong play.  Heart and soul midfielder Brady Thompson startied the scoring with a wonderfully struck finish just inside the post to open the flood gates, and center back Drew Fiutko opened his account for the season as well.  

The defense was stout as ever and also contributed in the scoring with a goal by the aforementioned Drew Fiutko and assists provided by Reichen Morrisey (to his older brother off a beautifully struck corner kick), Dave Cappuccio, and Jeremy Doak.  

Biggest victory of the day was we seemed to keep the Big Green WAGs off of Twitter as their was nothing to report!!  Good game to Big Green, they worked their butts off and never quit.  

Its a big week for the Infinity boys coming up.  Matthews Cup semifinal action against Bangarang on Thursday and we look to secure our first ever championship this Sunday against Rust Belt.
