Match RECAP:  Infinity FC

A scoring output from Infinity FC the likes we have never seen!  Credit to North Collins United as they were the first side to score on Infinity this year.  Their tally made it 3-1, but the Infinity boys were quick and decisive in response en route to a comprehensive 10-1 victory at Flash Fields Sunday 6/11/23.  Good game to North Collins United who competed for a full 90 despite significant heat and no subs.  There was no quit shown by them.

Man of the Match Tommy Volpe started the scoring with a quick steal of a pass and a dart of a run to goal with calm and precise finish.  Volpe was impossible for North Collins to deal with on the day as he tallied 4 more assists throughout the match.

Peter Morgan once again proved impossible to contain on the wing on his way to 2 more goals for the club.  As it ever was, Mariusz Radwanski tallied twice as well.  Even the defenders got into the action as David Cappuccio had an unstoppable wonder strike into the upper 90 of the net and Jeremy Doak tapped in an inch perfect cross from Volpe in the second half.

Infinity not being a team to discuss possession stats, the midfield consisting of Jon Carter, Billy Seifert, Harry O'Malley, and Brady Thompson maintained control of the match all day and distributed beautifully to initiate the attack time and time again.

We look to build off this performance as we head into our second Matthews Cup group stage game against a very strong Ukraine FC.  A true barometer of a match for Infinity FC!!!
