Match RECAP:  Infinity FC

It was a Happy Mother's Day for Infinity and all of the moms and WAGs.  Bolstered by yet another clean sheet from Tommy "Clean Sheet" Notto, Infinity scored a comfortable and comprehensive victory over South Buffalo FC.  We thank all the moms and wives who let their boys play on this Sunday evening, from both Infinity and South Buffalo FC.  Good game to them.  Good group of guys.

Infinity was bolstered by another strong defensive performance.  Harry O'Malley and Peter Morgan locked down the center back spots wonderfully and securely despite playing out of position and both could have garnered "Man of the Match" honors.  Outside backs Connor Allan and Reichen Morrisey not only shut down the attack outside, they pushed forward to provide numbers and support to the attack.  Defender Sean Morrisey was particulary strong in ball winning and provided the majority of the  cheering section along with his two sons.  Zach Morrisey provided attacking spark on the outside and had an edge to his game that was hard for South Buffalo to match.

The center midfield was especially strong controlling the day including Bill Seifert and Jon Carter bringing calmness and control to settle the play down and control the game.  A wonderful creative spark was provided by Tommy Volpe, not only scoring a goal on the day, but creating chance after chance.  Same as it ever was, Mariusz Radwanski finished from distance and provided a master class of a set piece that Brady Thompson, heart and soul of the club, finished with his very hard head (I have the scar to prove it)!

In the end, it was a great day to be Infinity.  We look to stay in the battle for the division championship as we take our show on the road to Grand Island to face nWo this weekend in the BDSL Rumors Match of the Week.

To Infinity.... and Beyond
