Match RECAP: Infinity FC It was a great battle between two burgeoning rivals, Infinity FC and Bangarang. Both teams were well organized and difficult to break down. Each team created a few chances, each team was thwarted by strong backlines and excellent goal keeping.
Infinity's Man of the Match, Thomas "Clean Sheet" Notto notched his third consecutive clean sheet and continues to dazzle in the nets for Infinity. He was called upon to make several big saves and assuredly did so each time. Buoyed by the staunch center back pairing of David Cappuccio and Drew Fiutko, Infinity has yet to concede through our first three games. Timely interventions by outside backs Pete Morgan and Connor Allan also proved vital.
Offseason Bangarang addition, Ryan Couell (former Lykan United and confirmed traitor!), was certainly key in keeping our attackers at bay.
Ultimately a well played game, and fair result. We look for a little rest this week and to get ready to impress the moms (which for most of our "experienced" team are actually wives/girlfriends) and pick up 3 points this upcoming Sunday against South Buffalo FC. The legs are a bit weary for some of us coming of 4 games in 7 days.
