Infinity FC vs. Queen City AFC

A great way for Infinity to open the 100th season of BDSL action.  Monday night futbol prime time debut against Queen City AFC with a solid 2-0 win.  Queen City was well organized and difficult to break down, and it took two amazingly crafted goals by Nick Sperrazza and Mariusz Radwanski to fill the net.  The first goal assisted by Tommy Volpe and the second by the heart and soul of the squad Brady Thompson after a lovely team build-up.

Drew Fiutko, David Cappuccio, and Matthew Waddington were stout down the middle of our defense and limited chances.  Thomas Notto was sure handed to secure his first clean sheet of the season.

Overall it was an excellent start to our 3rd campaign and we were fortified by key off season additions including Brian Norman, David Cappuccio, and Matthew Waddington.  The soccer was good despite some tough weather on May 1st in Buffalo.

We look to keep the positive momentum going with a tough Matthews Cup match up with 3rd division Munster FC this Thursday and a clash with rivals Bangarang on Sunday featuring an old friend of the club, Ryan Couell, and charter Infinity member Kevin Hickey.  Good luck to them each week, except this week!
