Match RECAP: Infinity FC Infinity remains undefeated and picks up a huge 3 points against Bangarang this Sunday! Last week, we were bouyed by the attackers, this week all credit belongs to the best center back pair in the 4th division. Man of the match, Zak Persichini and Honorable mention man of the match (really should be split down the middle) Greg Blette, thwarted Bangarang's attack all day. Solid performances by our outside backs including Quinton Landers, Reichen and Sean Morrisey, and Jeremy Doak helped keep Bangarang at bay and limited chances all day.
Peter Morgan keeps his hotstreak alive with another deft finish in front of goal from a beautiful assist by way of Drew Fiutko who got his first run at striker this season.
The center mid pairing of Brady Thompson and Harry O'Malley won balls all day and limited the amount of threats that needed to be put out. The entire team played smart, stayed in shape, and a clinical performance was needed against a quality Bangarang side. Special shout-out to veteran midfielder Billy Seifert who won many tackles and battled to control the middle of the pitch all day.
All in all, a very solid, if not spectacular performance, from the group. It was needed against an improved Bangarang side. Good clean and fair game to them. They will pick up a lot of points this season.
