Match RECAP: Infinity FC A bit of a frustrating day for the Infinity boys. WNY Meerkats provided our toughest test of the season to this point for sure. We felt we had ultimately the better of the play, but we failed to generate many chances as they were secure in defense. 0-0 draw felt ultimately relatively fair, if not a bit frustrating.
Man of the Match for Infinity was a draw between center back stalwart Greg Blette and our keeper, Tommy Notto, who secured his second clean sheet in a row for the club. Ultimately, that gave him the nod, but the defensive middle provided by Greg Blette and Drew Fiutko limited chances all day.
Hard work through the middle provided by Harry O'Malley, Brady Thompson, Tommy Volpe, Billy Seifert, and Mariusz Radwanski halted many counter-attacking opportunities for the Meerkats.
End result felt a little bit like kissing our sisters, so not much to speak about. But we will take the point and move forward on our quest to win the 4th division this season.
