Match RECAP: Infinity FC A great start to the season for the Infinity boys!!! Strong offensive performance with solid defense as well. Celtic Classic performed well, and truly the game play was closer than the score would indicate. Our solid defensive unit consisting of Greg Blette and Zak Persichini in the middle thwarted many attacks. Solid performance by our keeper Tommy Notto, who was unfortunate to not collect a clean sheet in his club debut after a penalty was awarded for a handling in the area.
No surprise to all, Mariusz Radwanski filled the stat sheet in his usual fashion with clinical finishing. Newcomer Lucimar Dos Santos impressed with his finishing and a beautiful assist to striker Ben Jamesson who provided a brace as well.
Midfield consisting of Harry O'Malley, Mariusz Radwanski, Tommy Volpe, Drew Fiutko, and the Carters (Jon and Danny) held possession, set up goals, and controlled the game.
Special congrats to Sean Morrisey for getting a game in with both sons, Reichen and Zach. It was all and all a great day for Infinity FC and the perfect start to the season. Celtic Classic are a class group and will definitly get some positive results this season.
