We now understand why Scheiber hates grass fields so much. The bumpy pitch at West Seneca Soccer Complex did neither team any favors with their control and contributed to a relatively sloppy performance.
We felt that we had the better of play, possession, and chances and felt disappointed to take away only a point. Big Green SC played hard and continued to push, collecting an equalizer midway through the second half.
Infinity had some really nice build up play but failed to strike and take our chances. Good game by their keeper. The only thing louder than his play was his constant chirping, but at least he backed it up with some solid saves. Most notably robbing our striker on a clear breakaway with a finger tip save late in the second half.
Overall we were disappointed with the point, but not so disappointed in our play. We look to continue to climb up the table in the coming weeks and build on our performance. On Infinity.
