A beautiful Sunday saw one of the top teams battle a lower half team but that didn't matter as both teams had minimal subs and the turf was very hot even though the temperature was a nice mid 70s and the humidity was down from the day before. Possession seemed to favor Metro more although they could not create many quality chances. The breakthrough came on a step up by Eri as he tackled the ball away and then fed the ball up to Adi who crossed it to Florian. About 10 min. later, Gordon penetrated the right side of the field and fed Adi who fed Christian for a tap in. There were cries of offsides but without the 2nd AR, it was hard to tell and the goal stood. Metro pressed hard w/ a few free kicks and corners but could only muster one goal in the 85th min. off of a cross to the six yard box that eluded two defenders. Great job both teams!
