1' - Livonia City came ready with a direct gameplan, exacting it with success and a goal inside 30 seconds. A strong run up the right wing fed a near-post through ball to R. Luciani who squared it over to N. Morana at the top of the box. A sweet finish to the upper-right corner of the goal rocked off the support post in the back of the net for an early lead.
10' - Livonia City capitalized off of a free kick near the halfway line as D. Gudenau launched a high, deep cross into the box. J. Deneweth outjumped the defenders and goalkeeper to head it into the center of the goal to make it 2-0.
15' - Livonia City tied up the match with a R. Luciani breakaway ended in him getting slide tackled from behind, resulting in a penalty kick. Captain B. Lightner stepped up to the spot and banged it up the middle off the crossbar and in.
30' - Despite some offensive pressure from Hoverla, Livonia City extended their lead to 3 with another goal from J. Deneweth, as he came out in front of a scrappy moment around the pk spot and launched a second goal past the diving keeper. Assist credited to R. Luciani with another square ball across the face of goal.
40' - T. Oatley made the most of his LCFC debut by slipping a left-footed shot under the sprawling Hovela goalkeeper on a breakaway. J. Deneweth credited with the assist with a nicely weighted through-ball.
HALFTIME: LCFC 4 - 0 Hoverla
85' - Hoverla snag a consolation goal in the dying minutes of the match. The last 15 minutes proved to be scrappy and resulted in a few yellows as both teams closed out a hot one.
