KICKOFF - 9:00 AM
First Half - LCFC eased into the game with high possession play before eventually penetrating the back line with a through ball in the 10th minute. The 2nd goal came from a long through from the LCFC goalkeeper. A few turnovers in the Brighton defensive-end were capitalized on as well as LCFC closed out the half up 5 nil.
HALFTIME: Brighton B52s 0 - 5 LCFC
Second Half - The second half saw Brighton with a flurry of early chances, LCFC goalkeeper standing strong and parrying away the shots. LCFC punched in a 6th with a through ball and the 7th goal came from a free kick that found it's way through the Brighton wall to make it 7-0. Brighton hit the scoresheet with a flagrantly offside goal that was saved by the LCFC goalkeeper but the rebound was pounced on to make it 7-1. Goals continued to flow in LCFC's direction, at one point becoming 9-1. A defensive breakdown in marking occured as Brighton scored a second goal, but LCFC capped the game off with a 10th goal shortly afterwards. The last 15 minutes were mainly possession-based for LCFC as they closed out the 10-2 win.
