Scoring started midway in the first half with America FC capitalizing on a failed attempt to clear the ball out of the Celtic box. However, Celtic equalized a few minutes later with a long pass from central defense to the right wing and back to center at the top of America's box where Soussan evaded a defender and tucked the ball in the right corner of goal.

 

In the second half, Celtic stepped up attacks on the America goal, but this time from the left winger who slotted a ball to striker Murdukhayev outside the box on the left side and he blasted a shot inside the near post. The scoring ended in the last 5 minutes again with Murdukhayev who intercepted a pass from America's goalkeeper at midfield and launched a 50 yard towering kick toward goal that landed inside the right post.
