Game started wide open but we ended up on the ropes early as thy threatened with a few crosses but we held.  They struck first about 10-15 in when a cross to the far post was crossed back to the near post and they had 2 guys free inside our left back and left mid for an easy tap in. The game got increasingly more physical and chippy as play continued to be wide open.

Halftime 1-0

Second half saw us create some chances but again failed to finish. A long ball on a counter was mishandled by our keeper and their resulting cross was cleared away but their center mid walked down our center with the ball and blasted it home from distance to make it 2-0. They scored again on a late own goal after an initial shot was blocked in the box and no one moved to mark the top of the box and the cross to the back post between 2 of their players went off our guy's shin and in. Our midfield play was atrocious and their high level of physical play took us out of the game. Back to the drawing board with the goals for this season.
