Beyond FC lose to New York Irish SC but unlucky not to get at least a point.
Beyond Metro team wanted to get keep the positive dynamic of this start season by wining against the NY Irish team. In order to do that Gary freshly promoted to main coach position until he recover from his injury provide to the team directions and warnings to defeats a team with well know style.
Things easy to say but after six days break Beyond Metro has to hold the starter during the first fifteen minutes of the games as NY Irish was stick to their game plan which was . So the Irish team was keep sending long balls but Beyond back line with Rob skill as control tower and the speed of Kennedy, Jon and Sam was enough to control team. Beyond was under pressure on every free kicks and corners as this exercise was masterized by Irish SC. Beyond was proceed to rapid counter attacks either from the wings or center how could have stab NY Irish ambitions but instead Beyond got a goal against from a corner kick who should have been better cleared. NY Irish SC 1 - 0 Beyond FC Metro.
This goal against put the Beyond team against the wall and the revolt started from their. Beyond step on the ball and start to have more control of the game. The game intensity raised up and transmissions got quicker and just before the half time after an interception Rehan which was very active an had couple opportunity had a one on one but the Irish keeper won his challenge. NY Irish SC 1 - 0 Beyond FC half time.
The half-time was the occasion to make a couple of adjustements in the middle including Ali as number 10 position. After couple of minute of domination from Beyond this adjustment payoff as Ali send a remote control ball to Rehan which had a top class finish to equalize. NY Irish SC 1 - 1 Beyond FC. After the goal NY Irish long balls as less effect and Beyond FC was keep pushing to have the win but the match lost intensity and the draw start to germ in people head so less risk was taken from both teams.
While the game was coming to the end The Ref which was having fair calls until now call for a 35 yard on the right side when looking at the keeper for NY Irish for a foul from Kennedy difficult to explain. The tension raised up as both players were starting pushing each others. When most of player expected the ball to be "Put it in tha mixer" the free kick was taken directly to the goal right under the post and Khiro wasn't able to reach it. NY Irish SC 2 - 1 Beyond FC Metro. The last minute of the game was Beyond try to rush to equalize and NY Irish everyone behind the ball to try hold the result which they did.
Next game Beyond FC Metro will receive NY Shamrock SC 1960 on Sunday, September 30th and it will be the occasion from beyond to stick to the head of the league.

Another bitter pill to swallow in Game week 3. Another late set piece goal the difference between the teams. A very lack luster poor first half by our standards, but a spirited response in the second half that wasn’t enough. We as a team need to learn to apply ourselves from the first whistle. We’re a new team and we have a lot to work on. We’ll go back to the drawing board and continue to improve.
MOTM - goes to Rob in his return. a solid, controlled and reliable performance at the back managing the back line. Honorable mention goes to our Mr. Versatile, Yohan. At this stage of the season he has selflessly played in almost every position for this team when called upon. Rumors are he starts in goal next week.
We have serious competition for places. It’s time to put the hard work in if we want to get anything from this season. Onwards and Upwards.
