We dominated the first 15 min but failed to finish our chances. Game evened out rest of the first half. They scored on a counter late first half on a ball our last defender was unable to make an athletic goal line clearance on.
Halftime 0-1.
Second half saw us dominate most possession but still we could not finish. With about 25 to play, their keeper came out of the box to deny a breakaway goal and saved the ball with his hand. The ref correctly sent him off for an obvious goal scoring play. About 5-10 min later, their player went down on a 50-50 calling for a foul. The ref questionably gave him a 2nd yellow for language dropping them to 9. We were finally able to break through with less than 15 to play and a 2 man advantage before taking the foot off the gas with a 3 goal advantage.
