The safety of our girls was compromised and despite cries from our coach for assistance from the referee, no control was ever gained by the referee over this game. it was a free for all with blantant and flagrant fouls (tripping, pushing from behind, chicken wings, dangerous tackles and major unsportsmanlike conduct). It was being directed to the players from their coach on the sideline. At one point, it was yelled "take out the keeper". The game should have been stopped for the safety of our girls as no control was ever held by the referee.
horrible game. Ref was not equipped to handle this out of control opponent lead by their coach, Trujillo. He later stated if he called every foul, there would not have been a game.
