As an added bonus to the weekend, Sky Blue FC of the National Women’s Soccer League will be hosting the Seattle Reign FC on the evening of Saturday, May 26. Kickoff for that match is at 7:00 p.m. at Yurcak Field on the campus of Rutgers University in Piscataway, N.J. (Please double-check your team's schedule as some showcase games may be taking place during this time.) Last year more than 700 of our showcase players and their families attended the Sky Blue vs Orlando game, and everyone had a great time tailgating and watching NWSL soccer. We hope to see an even bigger turnout this year!
Sky Blue FC features current U.S. Women’s National Team captain Carli Lloyd and USWNT player Savannah McCaskill as well as other international stars such as Costa Rica’s Raquel Rodriguez and Canadian National Team players: Kailen Sheridan, Janine Beckie and Adriana Leon. Seattle will field a line-up with U.S. Women’s National Team players Megan Rapinoe and Allie Long, in addition to former USWNT player and NJ native, Yael Averbuch.
