Meet Michel Vanderhart! 
Director of Coaching for U13-U19 Divisions

As a member of the VYS Technical Staff, he helps to develop and implement the VYS coaching curriculum and is responsible for supervising and overseeing the head coaches and assistant coaches within the girls travel program.

Michel is a long time Vienna resident with an intimate knowledge of the Northern Virginia soccer landscape.

He currently holds a USSF B license and is a former VYSA Coach of the Year.  Michel is also a Head Coach for the Washington Spirit VA Academy whose teams compete in the Super Y league.

Michel earned a PhD in economics from Texas A&M University.
