Meet Steve Lehany!
Director of House/Recreation Programs and Summer Camps

As a member of the VYS Technical Staff, Steve is responsible for developing and implementing quality programs to raise the development of VYS players and providing house/recreational players with a variety of opportunities that support participation and player development. Steve is also a Head Coach in the VYS Travel Program.

Steve comes to Vienna with a background of youth, college and semi-pro soccer level experience.

As a youth player, Steve was a member of the Plymouth Argyle FC Academy and Bristol Rovers FC Academy. At the young age of 16, he began playing semi-professional soccer for Weston-Super-Mare FC while pursuing a degree at Weston College in the area of Sport and Exercise Science. During the course, he also became involved in coaching, working with college players as well as Weston-Super-Mare FC. Steve earned a BSc Degree in Sports Studies at the University of Glamorgan. He has a Level 3 Coaching Certificate (UEFA B).
