North Metro Soccer Association is excited to announce the North Metro Academy for the 2016-2017 season. The North Metro Academy is a year round program that provides a high level of training, competition and player development for individuals and teams.
The Academy Program will be offered for the top team at each of the following Birth Years:
Boys - 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006
Girls - 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006
By committing to the Academy Program, each team member can expect:
- Participation in MYSA, US Club, or MRL depending on the age/playing level
- Access to qualified paid trainers and coaches **Ranging from an assistant coach to a head coach as needed
- Focused winter training with a minimum of 1 day/week from November to April **Additional days available at team discretion
- Participation in local and regional tournaments/showcases
- Involvement in winter Futsal/Indoor leagues
Cost for the Academy program will start at $1000 per player which will include:
- Fall 2016 League Play for Birth Years 2003 to 2006 (Players playing HS Soccer Exempt)
- Summer 2017 League Play for All Birth Years
- Minimum 30 Sessions with a qualified paid trainer or coach
- Indoor Training at the National Sports Center in Blaine and/or Adrenaline Sports Center
- North Metro Academy Training Kit
- Partial Payment of Futsal/Indoor Leagues and Indoor/Outdoor Tournament
Additional fees will depend on individual team needs determined ones teams are formed. Additional Fees for Indoor Training, Tournaments and Coaching Fees are likely for most Academy teams. Travel, Uniforms and other apparel are not included in Academy Fees.
