DR. EARL D. and DR. ERNEST B. SMITH: Earl and Ernest were identical twins, who formed the baseball battery at Northside High (1919-21) and at Denison University ('25 grads)... Both coaches, Phys. Ed. teachers at Painted Post High ... Dr. Earl became a medical doctor in Elmira; Dr. Ernest served as Prof, of Health-Physical Education at Univ. of Georgia 1946-68, also college's Intramurals Director . . . Ernest, as colonel, directed all Army-Air Force Phys. Ed. programs during WWII . . . Earl died 1970, brother in 1976.
