DAVID (RED) STODDARD. Red played 5 years (1937-42) with championship Ryan's Loan in the Twilight; also competed with Zip's and CGW in local semi-pro loops . . . Originally an outfielder, he later played IB and 2B and was a strong hitter with a good mark for homers from his usual cleanup position in the lineup . . . Later active in union and music circles.
