JIM SHEEDY (Athens, PA) has contributed to Corning High School football for the past 20 years as a spotter, announcer, statistician and a member of the chain gang on sidelines at Memorial Stadium... During the 1960s, coached the girls 7th and 8th grade St. Vincent's basketball team to a 97-27 record that included two CYO championships ... Also led a high school aged boys team to CYO titles in Rochester and in the tough Neighborhood House League in Elmira ... Also led a Tarantelli's sponsored team to a 63-3 record in two seasons in Corning Summer Recreation League ... Also served as chief statistician for the East High basketball team in the 60s and 70s.
