CASEY SPENCER
Track/Cross-Country - 2002

Casey Spencer graduated from Corning East in 1996 and was one of the premier long distance runners ever to suit up for cross country and track teams. Four times she was named to the All-League in cross country and five times she was named to the All-League team in track and field. Casey was the STC cross country champion four years in a row and won the sectionals as a sophomore, junior and senior. She competed in the state meet four years in a row for cross country and still holds the track team record for the 1500 and 3000 runs.

Casey took her talents to the University of Buffalo and quickly became the backbone of their cross country team and a stalwart on the track & field team. She was the captain of the cross country team for three years and was twice named as the MVP. During her freshman season at the University of Buffalo, they captured the cross country conference championship and she was one of the team’s top runners in each of her four years there. Casey has recently graduated from the University of Buffalo and is currently attending law school.
