Bill Suhr has served on the Coming-Painted Post Sports Hall of Fame's Board of Directors for the past eleven years. For the past nine years. Bill has been in charge of putting together the program that is distributed at the annual Induction Dinner. His input and professionalism has been a tremendous input to the success of the Sports Hall of Fame. Bill has also served on the Board of Directors for the Corning Men's Bowling Association, leading that organization as the President for the past two years. He has also served as a league officer for a number of different seasons. Bill was also the co-manager of the most successful scratch singles bowling tournament in the area when he helped direct the success of the Corning Christmas Classic at Lisi Lanes. During a nine year run the tournament expanded from 32 to over 150 entries. During his softball playing days, Bill was also a major contributor to the success of the leagues and tournaments he played in for over 15 years.
