ANDY STINSON graduated from Corning West in 1998 as a key member of the Vikings basketball team. He was the Mr. Inside to compliment Mr. Outside (Brad Breitwise) for Corning West in 1997 and 1998 forming an  unstoppable  combination  that  culminated  in  the Vikings first  ever  appearance  in  the NYS  Final  Four. He scored the second most points all­time as a junior with 411 points. Andy was team's leading scorer and rebounder as a senior leading the Vikings to the Steuben A­AA League title. He was named the Star­-Gazette Player of the Year as a senior. Andy was a First­Team, All­STC member as a junior and senior. Following his senior season, Andy was named to the NYS Class B, Fourth Team. He was also a standout on the Corning District soccer team. After graduating from West, Andy took his talents to St. Bonaventure University where he made the Division I team as a walk­on. He played at St. Bonaventure for three years.
