CHRIS SCANLON joins his older brother in this year's class of HOP inductees following a four-year career for the Coming West varsity lacrosse team. He was the team leader in goals, assists and ground balls. He sparkled as a senior when he was named All-Section IV, First Team, All-Leader, won a gold medal in the Empire State Games and led the Vikings to the NYS Class B, Section IV Championship. Chris capped his senior campaign by being named as a High School All-American. Following graduation, Chris went to Hobart College, where he was a three-year starter. He was one of the top five scorers for Hobart as a junior and senior, serving as team captain both seasons. While at Hobart, Chris was named to the All-Patriot League and was selected to play in the North-South All-Star Game. He was signed by the Rochester Rattlers pro team for the 2005 season and played three games at the end of the season and also played in eight of 12 games in the 2006 season. He is currently serving as an assistant coach at Clarkson University and is working on his masters degree at St. Lawrence University.
