KEVIN SCANLON was a four-year starter for the Corning West lacrosse team, graduating in 1996. He became a member of the Vikings 100-point club with 102 goals along with 41 assists for 143 career points. Kevin was named All-Section IV as a junior and senior, serving as team captain both years. Following his senior season, Kevin was named as a High School All-American. He played in the Empire Games and earned a bronze medal while serving as captain of the team. He took his skills to Oswego State University where he was a four-year starter as a face-off specialist. He was named All-Empire League, First Team as a freshman, sophomore and junior. He set a school record with eight assists in a game during his freshman season. An injury curtailed his play in his senior season. He is currently living in Painted Post and is the varsity lacrosse coach at Horseheads High School.
