Tim Ryan graduated from Corning East in 1984 and from Syracuse University in 1988. While at East, Tim was a four-year varsity letter winner and was named to the All-STC first team selection in the 800, 1600 and 3200 relay following both his junior and senior seasons. Tim finished second in Section IV in the 800 as a senior to qualify for the state meet. While at Syracuse, Tim was a four-year winner for the track team and served as the team captain during his senior season. During that senior season, Tim, along with his brother Tom, was a member of the 3200 relay team that set a school record which still stands. He was also a member of the distance medley team that won the Big East Championship in 1988. Tim is currently living in Carterville, Georgia and will be inducted into the Hall of Fame with his twin brother Tom.
