Mike Riff graduated from Corning West High in 1994 following a five year career on the Corning District wrestling team that earned him five letters. Mike won the Section IV, Class A championship twice after finishing as the runnerup twice. He won 15 tournament championships, including a fivetime winner of the Hammondsport Tourney and three times at the Johnson City Tournament. Mike also won twice at the EFA Christmas Tournament and the Deposit and Tioga Tournaments. He was also named the Outstanding Wrestler of the EFA, Johnson City and Tioga Tournaments. Three times he was named to the ALL-STC first team and twice he was named to the ALL-STC second team. Mike currently lives in Denver where he works full time and goes to school part time to earn his degree.
