LUKE REILLY graduated from Corning East High in 2001. He left his mark as one of the finest football players
to ever wear the maroon and white after putting together back to back seasons as a 1,000 yard rusher. As a
junior, from his quarterback position in the option offense, Luke rushed for 1,125 yards with 15 touchdowns and
then followed that with 1,155 yards (9.2 yed. per carry) and 14 touchdowns as a senior that included a school
record 7 TD in the East West game. Luke was the AllTwin Tiers Offensive Back of the Year as junior and was
named to the AllNew York State, third team as a senior. He was twice named the winner of the prestigious Dana
Eckel Award at East. He was named AllTwin Tiers, AllSection IV and AllLeader as a junior and as a senior.
Luke also played four yeas of lacrosse at East and won a gold medal for the Western Lacrosse team in the 2000
Empire Games. He earned a lacrosse scholarship to UMBC where he played for four years. Luke is currently the
assistant lacrosse coach at Virginia Wesleyan.
