ANDREW RUOCCO

Andrew Ruocco is a 2004 graduate of Corning East High where he was a starting attackman for the Trojans for three years. As a junior Andrew was named to the All-Leader, Second-Team and was named to the First-Team as a senior. Both years, he helped East High to 19-1 records. He was named the MVP of the Section IV title game as a senior. After graduation, Andrew took his lacrosse skills to RIT where he turned into one of the most prolific scorers in school’s history. He led the team in goals and was second in assists and points as a freshman attacker. As a sophomore, Andrew was second in assists, third in goals and points. As a junior at RIT, he switched to midfield and finished second in assists, third in goals and points. His senior campaign proved to be his best as Andrew was the team leader in goals, assists and points. He finished his career at RIT with 143 goals (4th overall), 94 assists (8th) and 237 points (4th) along with 11 career game-winning goals. Andrew is the second most prolific East High grad in college lacrosse scoring behind only Terry Corcoran's 295 points for Hobart.
