PA Classics Accepted into Inaugural Girls U.S. Soccer Development Academy League

PA Classics has been accepted into the newly formed Girls Developmental Academy League that will begin play in the Fall of 2017. Below is the press release about the clubs that have been accepted. Currently, there are 75 clubs that have been accepted into the national league. Currently, just two Pennsylvania clubs have been accepted with Penn Fusion being the other.

This is the highest level league that girls can play in, so to be granted entry into this league is very exciting for the club and will provide competitive opportunities and exposure for our girls that we have not been able to provide in the past.

Our boys have been participating in this league since its inception 10 years ago and it has been a huge positive for our boys program and we expect the same to be true now for our girls program.

More information will be following in the coming months about the new academy league and what that means for players that will be interested.

If you have any questions at all, please contact Steve Klein at steve@paclassics.org.

US Soccer Development Academy Launch U12 & U13 Programs
Expansion of Academy Will Improve Player and Coach Environment

CHICAGO (Oct. 16, 2015) - In its continual effort to improve player development, the U.S. Soccer Development Academy program will be expanding to the Under-12 age group starting in the Fall of 2016.

The expansion to U-12 will incorporate the same Academy philosophy as the older age groups, providing this critical younger age with an improved environment to enhance player and coach development. The players will train more often, while also playing fewer - but more meaningful - games every week, which will provide the American player with the opportunity to learn and develop to reach their full potential.
