Futsal is the way the world plays indoor soccer. It is played on all the continents of the world in over 100 countries by more than 12 million players.
Futsal is played on a basketball-size court. It can be played on a variety of surfaces. The game does not require the use of expensive dasher board - walls, as do other versions of indoor soccer.
Without the walls, futsal is a great skill-developer, demanding quick reflexes, fast thinking, and pin-point passing. It is an exciting game for children as well as adults.
Great soccer superstars such as Pele, Zico and Socrates grew up playing the game and credit Futsal with developing their skills. Futsal is played with a special low bounce ball, requiring players to use their skills, rather than the ball's bounce, to propel it.

The PA Classics Futsal Winter Academy is for both PA Classics players and players that are not from the club. This academy will primarily focus on individiual, technical skills development such as dribbling, passing and receiving, fast foot work, etc. Depending on the group, there may also be small sided games. There will be 8 sessions. Players will be separated into four groups based on gender, age and ability level. We will be using 4 futsal fields and each field will have its own staff member that will work with 10-15 players each week. Maximum of 60 players accepted each hour. Last year was sold out.
