Rust Belt United vs. FC Aftershock

We agreed to schedule our "floating" game a week before the official opening of the summer 2017 season. Aftershock showed up with 13 while it looked like rustbelt had somewhere between 14-17 players. Kickoff was scheduled for 6:00 pm and we started on time, while noticing some dark clouds starting to move in. Within the first 10 minutes, Caleb Spaulding received the ball on the left side of the field. He make a move or two and beats the goalie far post from top of the 18. 1-0. Around 20' Caleb receives the ball in a similar spot and beats the goalie to make it 2-0. At the 25' thunder rolls in so the ref blows his whistle and we all head over to the pavilion. We wait the appropriate amount of time and head back onto the fields; however, at the 32' minute there is more thunder so we have to wait another 30 minutes or so. Once back on the field, at the 40', Dillon Patterson takes the ball away from the goalie and scores on the empty net. 3-0. The rest of the first half was mainly controlled by aftershock. The whistle blows and we just switch sides due to the long delays from the weather. Around the 55', Ben Spaulding jumps on a loose ball in the box and beats the goalie. 4-0. Around the 75', Tony Bonadonna plays the ball over the top to Patterson who walks in all alone on the goalie and makes it 5-0. At the 90', Brian Voit makes it 6-0 by scoring off a rebound. Final whistle blows right after the ball is in the net. Shoutout to Jeff Casillo with the clean sheet in his first outdoor BDSL game.
