OKC Energy FC signs Jesus "Chuy" Sanchez (USL Pro)

“Chuy is a dynamic center midfielder with amazing technical skill,” Energy FC Head Coach Jimmy Nielsen said. “He has a great attitude and works tirelessly on the pitch. He’s a tricky playmaker and will be a handful for any defender.”
While the book on Edwards Jr. is that he's a raw talent, he played with the U.S. National Team at the U-14 through U-20 levels. Additionally, he showed leadership qualities at UCLA, acting as team captain for the previous three seasons.

Earl Edwards Jr. have been named to the 2013 Soccer America MVP Team, as announced by the publication today. Stolz received first-team honors while Edwards was named to the second team.

The Philadelphia Union announced their first trade of the regular season, shipping defender/midfielder Gabriel Farfan to Chivas USA. This 24-year-old Cal State-Fullerton product logged 57 total games with Philadelphia. Despite playing most of his college career as a midfielder, he was converted to left back after the Union traded Jordan Harvey during the 2011 season.

Santa Barbara Fiesta Soccer Tournament. We played in the over 30 division and went undefeated the whole tourney. This is the first year that the 82's were able to play and they (we) came out strong. Diego (an 82) got the golden boot of the tourney.
Farfan, the twin brother of the Union’s 2011 second round selection Michael Farfan, played at the University of Cal State Fullerton. He moved to Mexican soccer giants Club America for almost two years before leaving after progressing from the team’s reserve squad.
