It is with great pride that we announce the 2016/17 coaching staff for the U8-U15 age groups (below).
Our staff are the most licensed and experienced of any club in Sonoma County, and the last year has seen a significant number of current coaches expand their coach educaiton through U.S. Soccer & NSCAA courses, trips abroad to visit professional youth programs, and several coaches being selected by NorCal Premier Soccer, US Club Soccer, and U.S. Soccer to coach in the region's highest level selective programs. We are also delighted to be announcing the arrival of 6 new members of staff to SRU.

Lee Summerscales - SRU's new Academy Director (U8-U12), USSF 'B' License, NorCal PDP/IDP/State Pool coach, former North Coast FC Academy Director, and England U18 international.
Robin Hart - SSU Women's Assistant Coach, NSCAA Premier License & USSF 'C' License, former SF State Women's Assistant and Director at East Bay United SC.
Seth Campbell - NSCAA Premier License, and USSF 'B' License, former Petaluma United Director, Dominican Women's Assistant & North Coast FC coach.
Roy Gmitter - former SRU, Cardinal Newman & US U17/U20 national team player (played at U17 World Cup), USSF licensed.
Bree Robles - former SSU player, current SRJC Women's Assistant & former North Coast FC coach, USSF licensed.
Luis Castillo - Santa Rosa native, former SR Black Oaks & Atletico Santa Rosa coach, USSF licensed
